Lisbon

These are my glimpses from a two-day trip to Lisbon, Portugal.

Lisbon is not just about monuments, extravagant buildings or typical sightseeing.

To "breathe" the city you have to listen to its people, to its Fado songs, and to immerse into its history. That makes capturing photos of Lisbon a difficult process indeed.

During my very brief stay, I did not have the luxury to avoid cliche pictures of Lisbon. The medieval neighborhood of Alfama and its melancholy, with its Fados and Trams have imposed themselves.

But being there, I have understood that Lisbon has a soul which cannot be captured just by pictures...
